Riverbend Health Workers Union, Local 418, represents about 2,300 health care workers at Riverbend General Hospital, Northbank Community Clinic and Willow Court Care Home. Our members are care aides, licensed practical nurses, rehabilitation assistants, pharmacy technicians, lab assistants, unit clerks, cooks, porters and housekeeping staff.
What we do
- Bargain the collective agreement with Riverbend Regional Health Authority.
- Train and support stewards on every unit.
- Represent members in grievances, discipline meetings and workers’ compensation appeals.
- Run health and safety committees at every site.

Meetings
General membership meetings are on the second Tuesday of every second month at 18:00 at the Union Hall, 214 Mill Street, with an online option. Every member is welcome.
